Quality Counts
Course Overview
This online course is specifically designed for 4-H and FFA members involved in livestock projects. To ensure age-appropriate, hands-on learning, the course is divided into the following age groups: Juniors (grades 3-5), Intermediates (grades 6-8), and Seniors (grades 9-12).
Requirements
Participation in this course is mandatory for:
– New members who are starting their journey in livestock showing.
– Members advancing to a new level (e.g., Juniors moving to Intermediates).
Objectives
The Quality Counts Program aims to:
1. Help students understand the connection between strong character and safe food practices, tailored to their age and experience level.
2. Educate them on the ethical implications of livestock management decisions.
Please refer to this document for detailed instructions on how to complete the course.
